El Gouna Film Festival (GFF) is pleased to announce the launch of its most dynamic edition yet of CineGouna Market, featuring new sections, distinctive showcases, and leading companies from across the film industry.
This milestone would not have been possible without the support of the Egyptian Film Commission (EFC), whose regional and international partnerships have strengthened the market’s foundation. Together, we aim to pursue strategic expansions in future editions, in line with our commitment to building a more inclusive and diverse Market that embraces every aspect of filmmaking.
This year, CineGouna Market takes a major step forward with cutting-edge technologies, impactful collaborations, stronger regional and international presence that continue to elevate its standing across the industry.
This year, we are proud to announce our partnerships with Gemini Africa and the British Council, alongside the launch of the new edition of Le Salon du Marché.
Following our open call, we received over 40 submissions, from which a carefully selected group of participants was chosen to present their projects through scheduled pitching sessions at the market.
