Mariah Carey helping to design a grown-up gown for christmas

Mariah Carey is officially ushering in the holidays with a Christmas-inspired campaign for The Children’s Place, the popular children’s clothing and accessories retailer.

Carey is joined by her kids Moroccan and Monroe in the campaign, marking the first time the three of them have posed for together for a brand partnership. The accompanying photos and video feature Carey and the twins decked out in The Children’s Place new holiday collection, which includes everything from graphic tees, to cozy sweats and matching pajamas for the whole family.

While The Children’s Place is best-known for its kid-sized fashions, Carey teamed up with the brand to design a grown-up gown for the occasion. The aptly-named “Mariah Carey dress” is a strapless, A-line number crafted in red velour, with a plaid oversized bow at the back that matches the brand’s holiday plaid collection worn by Moroccan and Monroe. The dress is available in sizes 0 to 18

This was Carey’s first time designing a dress, and the singer raved about the collaboration in an Instagram post, writing that the “limited-edition gown is perfect for the season.”

“Holiday traditions are big for us at the Carey house [and] there is nothing sweeter than baking Christmas cookies and cuddling around the fireplace and matching in The Children’s Place pajamas together,” she adds in a press release. “As someone who absolutely loves the holidays, and specifically, Christmas, I’ve been watching what The Children’s Place has been doing for the last few years and they have my stamp of approval for the place to shop for all matching family Christmas pajamas and outfits!”
