We can add Ellen DeGeneres to the growing list of celebrities who’ve met Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, the four-month-old son of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and Prince Harry.
The comedian and talk show host revealed on her daytime show today that she not only got to encounter the seventh in line for the throne, but she got feed and hold him too.
“I got to hold little Archie, the baby,” she said on today’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
“I fed Archie, I held Archie. … He weighs 15 pounds, which, the exchange rate, I believe, is 17 dollars here.”
Unfortunately, DeGeneres didn’t share any pictures from the meet-up, but she did reveal that Archie resembles his famous dad. “He looks like Harry,” she said.
The host joked that the royal baby has a “perfectly circular head, just like Harry, and he had more hair than I did at the time.”
Although Archie’s appearances have been slim, we already had a sense that he was inheriting some of his father’s features, especially his signature red hair.
A source previously told People that the little one is already growing “tufts of reddish hair,” just like his old man.
Archie will be making plenty more appearances later this month when he joins his parents for a royal tour of southern Africa, the trio’s first official tour as a family.
