Lady Gaga just got one step closer to going Instagram official with her rumored new boyfriend, audio engineer Dan Horton .
The singer posted a photo to her Instagram Story on Saturday, showing a charming candlelit meal prepared for two at a rustic dinner table.
Neither Gaga nor Horton are in the photo, but it appears Horton put together a romantic dinner—by candlelight, no less!—for himself and the music superstar.
Gaga called the sweet setup the “[Dan Horton] special” when she shared the table setting over the weekend.
Gaga and Horton first sparked dating rumors at the end of July when they were seen kissing during a brunch date in Studio City.
“Ironically, she had a table in the front near the sidewalk, so she was clearly okay with being seen,” a bystander told People at the time.
“She seemed very happy when interacting with the guy she was with.”
News of their new fling arrived months after Gaga parted ways with fiancé and talent agent Christian Carino, whom she was with for about two years.
Their breakup was reported in February, days before the singer and costar Bradley Cooper brought the house down at the Oscars with a steamy performance of their duet, “Shallow,” from A Star Is Born.
Gaga and Cooper were also surrounded by dating rumors after the awards show, but the singer clarified that they were not romantic; they were just in character for the performance.
A source even told Entertainment Tonight at the time that Gaga and Horton’s romance made news, the singer was ready to “dispel” the Cooper rumors “once and for all.”
Horton has worked as a monitor engineer for Gaga since November 2018, according to his LinkedIn.
His credits with an audio mixer include work with Ariana Grande and Bruno Mars.
