United Arab Emirates announced the update of travel procedures for citizens, residents and visitors from abroad, starting last Sunday.

Abolition of quarantine for all vaccinators coming to the Emirates.
– Obliging vaccinated and non-vaccinated passengers to show a negative result (PCR) before take off.
Receive the swab 48 hours before the flight.
Steps for travelers upon arrival according to the destination from which they are coming:
The vaccinators coming from the Green List destinations must conduct a PCR examination upon arrival.
– Perform another PCR test on the sixth day.
– Vaccines from other destinations must perform a PCR examination upon arrival.
– Conducting another PCR examination on the fourth and eighth days, in the event of staying in the emirate without the need for quarantine.
Travel procedures for non-vaccinated citizens, residents, visitors, excluded groups, and travelers from Green List destinations:
– Conducting a PCR examination upon arrival without the need for quarantine.
Additional examination on days 6-9
For non-vaccinated citizens, residents, visitors, and those coming from other destinations:
– Conducting a PCR examination upon arrival.
Quarantine for 10 days.
– Perform another examination on the ninth day.
The UAE has opened applications for tourist visas for catering tourists from all countries, starting tomorrow, Monday, August 30.
The decision included the countries from which entry was previously prohibited, with the mandatory rapid PCR laboratory examination at the airport, provided that the previous requirements remain valid for unvaccinated groups, including the excluded non-vaccinated groups.
Vaccination certificates can be registered for travelers wishing to enjoy the benefits obtained by vaccinated individuals in the country through the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship platform and Al Hosn app.
