Latifa wins Best Arab Singer at DG awards

For the second year, Latifa gained the DG Award as a Best Arab Singer, after releasing album “Mafish Mamnoa”. 

Latifa received the award during the DG 21th Awards, which was held in one of Cairo’s hotels. She expressed her joy with the award, and addressed her audience during the ceremony, stressing her continued constant communication with them, and presenting more works that satisfy all tastes during the coming period.

She also thanked the DG officials, explaining that it is one of the most important awards in the Arab region and the Middle East, especially since it is subject to real professional standards without compliments, then she sang the song “Life is Sugar” while receiving the award.

Latifa’s album “Mafish Forbidden”, in which she contains 10 songs, 8 of which were in the Egyptian dialect, one in the Tunisian dialect, and another in the Libyan dialect, achieved great success and exceeded 40 million views for all its songs on Latifa’s YouTube channel. Latifa also filmed 10 clips for the album’s songs, 7 of which were in the AI with director Walid Nassif, and 3 other songs with directors Sherif Tarhini and Gamil Gamil El Maghazi.
