Although the music festival is a community event oriented towards live performances of singing and instrument, but Egyptian opera chose to play this time for the global heritage.
The Opera presented a celebration on the occasion of the International Music Day.

The Cairo Symphony Orchestra, led by Maestro Ahmed Saidi, participated in the ceremony.
Eman Mustafa, Jolie Fitzi, Amr Medhat, Reda El Wakil
and cellist Mohamed Ahmed and Koral Akabila sang and trained Maya Gefinaria at the Grand Opera Theater.
The Minister of Culture said : “Heritage will always remains one of the basic pillars of human civilization
and a continuum that reflects human passion ..”

through the Egyptian-French activities in general and the reciprocal activities
which come within the framework of the Egypt-France 2019.”

The symphony orchestra have played collection of timeless classical works
such as the Carnival of the Notre-Dame-Antrimitzo of Franz Schmidt, the Cello Concerto and the Orchestra of San Sans, the Rome Fountains of Risbege
and the Ninth Symphony of Beethoven.
