The Saudi embassy in Turkey has warned Saudi citizens from stealing passports or possessions from “unknown” persons.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry’s page on Twitter quoted a statement from the embassy’s saying:
“Due to the exposure of some citizens to snatch and theft of passports and money in some areas
of the Republic of Turkey by unknown persons ..
the embassy wishes to emphasize the need to preserve passports and valuables and caution..
especially in crowded places, and not to hesitate to communicate with the embassy in Ankara
or General Consulate in Istanbul in case of emergency “.
Last May, the kingdom embassy in Turkey refereed to many problems facing Saudi citizens who invest in real estate, where some end up not having ownership papers or fraud.
