Veteran actor Anson Williams, best known for his iconic role as Warren “Potsie” Weber on the classic sitcom Happy Days, has been hit with a steep legal bill following a sharp ruling in his ongoing divorce proceedings with ex-wife Jackie Williams.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, a judge ordered the actor to hand over a total of $47,681.04—comprising $40,181.04 directly to Jackie and an additional $7,500 to cover her legal fees. The ruling came down after Williams failed to respond to the filing or show up for the scheduled court hearing.
Adding an unusual twist to the financial settlement, the court also ordered Williams to transfer 160,214 American Express reward points to his ex-wife.
Williams has been given a strict deadline of 5 p.m. on November 2 to settle the balance and hand over the reward points, marking the latest chapter in the former TV star’s post-showbiz legal saga.
